ROO Field Day at Pleasant Valley Ranch

Canadian Organic Growers (COG) and SaskOrganics are pleased to be co-hosting a field day on July 8th at Pleasant Valley Ranch Corp, outside North Battleford, Saskatchewan (as part of COG's Regenerative Organic Oats program).

Date: Wednesday, July 8th, 2026

Time: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST (Lunch included, sponsored by Bay State Milling/MGM Seed & Grain)

Location: Pleasant Valley Ranch Corp, North Battleford, SK


Doors open at 8:30 AM. Online registration is required.


This field day will feature activities such as:

  • Field tours (i.e. buckwheat, oats, sunflowers, legumes, cover crops (tillage radish, crimson clover), etc.)

  • Plow-down demonstrations using various methods

  • Equipment exhibition

  • Grain cleaning/screening methods

  • Organic fertilizer trials

  • Pollinator strips

  • Catered lunch

  • Plenty of time for networking.

Directions to the farm and the event agenda will be shared with registrants by email.


Please dress for the weather and be prepared to walk through field sites. We look forward to seeing you out there.
