SaskOrganics Education Scholarship is awarded annually to an individual pursuing post-secondary education in an agriculture related field of study.

Eligibility Requirements

 

• Enrolled in a post-secondary institution (technical or trade schools, college or university)

• Enrolled in an agriculture related field of study (food, farming, processing, marketing, etc.)

• A resident of Saskatchewan

• Preference will be given to applicants from certified organic operations

SaskOrganics' Outstanding Organic Farmer Award is awarded annually to an organic farmer who is making an outstanding contribution to the organic sector.

Eligibility Requirements

​

• Is a certified organic farmer in Saskatchewan

• Contributes to the organic community by being:​

  • An innovator in agronomic practices

  • A leader in advocating for and advancing organic agriculture

  • An exceptional mentor in the organic community

Nominations Deadline: January 8

*Each nominee will receive a follow up questionnaire  to help the Awards Committee to better understand the nominee’s contribution. This questionnaire must be completed by the nominee.
