Canadian Organic Growers (COG) and SaskOrganics are pleased to be co-hosting a field day on July 8th at Pleasant Valley Ranch Corp, outside North Battleford, Saskatchewan (as part of COG's Regenerative Organic Oats program).

Location: Pleasant Valley Ranch Corp, North Battleford, SK (Location will be shared with registrants)
Doors open at 8:30 AM. Registration between 8:30 and 9:00. We will be leaving for the first field at 9:15.
This field day will feature activities including:
Field tours including buckwheat, oats, sunflowers, legumes, cover crops (tillage radish, crimson clover), Grass/alfalfa seeded in alkali area
Ducks Unlimited Programs Talk

Pro-Till Plow-down equipment demonstration
Rodweeder Demonstration, Goose Creek Industries
Drone Seeding Demonstration, Northwest Precision Drones
Organic fertilizer trials, Hicks Seed Ltd.

Regenerative Organic Oats (ROO) is COG’s farmer-forward program designed to support Prairie-based growers who are interested in transitioning to regenerative organic farm management. The program is funded by Nature’s Path, Riverside Natural Foods (producers of the snack brand MadeGood), and MGM Seed and Grain/Bay State Milling in a supply chain collaboration that supports and bolsters the growth of the Canadian regenerative organic oats supply by focusing on soil health in the agricultural landscape.
